Privacy Policy

I take your privacy very seriously and I will never share information with anyone (except a supervisor as initially explained) unless I was extremely concerned about your welfare or that of another person as explained in your working agreement.  The information I hold about you is as follows:

1. Name, address, date of birth, contact details.
2. Brief notes of your counselling sessions.

Your details in (1) are kept separately from notes.

I keep notes on the legal basis of legitimate interests, which means that I am required by my professional organisations to keep certain details in order to be able to help you. I keep all notes and details securely in locked filing cabinets and they are destroyed after six years.

You are entitled to see your notes if you wish.
